Warranty Policy

If you wish to make a claim for warranty on product purchased from Elements Hardware, please first contact a member of the Customer Service team. If you are unsure if your claim is warranty or might not be accepted under warranty, please contact 03 928 5098. Otherwise please email us with your claim and include a purchase order number. Please note that you may be asked to provide photos of product, you may also receive a phone call form Elements Hardware to verify the claim. You will be notified if you claim has been accepted or not.


We cannot accept a warranty claim for damage unless it resulted from a defect in our materials and workmanship. We also cannot accept warranty for reasons of: (a) Surface damage occurring after purchase and not caused by defects in materials and workmanship; (b) misuse, neglect or accidental damage; (c) failure to maintain and care for the product; (d) defects or damage caused by using the product for a purpose other than that for which it was designed, such as the commercial use of the product; (e) defects or damage caused by improper installation; (g) modification and/or alteration to the product; (h) discoloration and scratches to finishes through normal use and ageing, and (j) normal wear and tear.


Please wait for instruction by Elements Hardware if your claim has been accepted. We may settle claims in one of two ways:


  • replacement of faulty product, with a return ticket for faulty items      
  • reimbursement of purchase price, with a return ticket for faulty items


 In any instance, Elements Hardware requires the return of product involved in the warranty claim. If product is not returned to Elements Hardware, we may refuse to settle claim or unless as otherwise agreed on by Elements Hardware. 



Elements Hardware does not offer sales to retail customers, we only supply businesses with approved accounts. We do not impose a minimum order value on the first or any consecutive orders to any our customers. Elements Hardware does not offer wholesale discounts on orders placed. Orders over the size of $1000.00 will receive a phone call from a member of the Customer Service team to confirm and verify the order.


Placing orders: First time customers of Elements Hardware are required to fill out an account credit application form. Applications may be declined on the basis of poor account keeping with previous suppliers. Clients will be advised if their application has been accepted.


There are three main ways of placing orders to Elements Hardware:         

  • Submit your order via our B2B Website    
  • Submit your order via phone call   
  • Submit your order via Email


To contact the Customer Service Team at Elements Hardware either phone: 03 928 5098 or email us. Calls will be answered between the hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Messages left and emails will be attended to by a Customer Service team member as soon as they can.


All prices are listed on the Elements Hardware B2B website are in NZD and are exclusive of GST. Total cost of the order is calculated in the shopping cart.
